QClips - third-party software ============================ FFmpeg (ffmpeg\QClips Engine.exe = ffmpeg.exe, ffmpeg\QClips Probe.exe = ffprobe.exe, and the FFmpeg DLLs) QClips runs FFmpeg as a separate program, built from the FFmpeg source with two small patches and only the parts QClips uses. Because it includes x264, this FFmpeg build is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later; the license text is in ffmpeg\LICENSE.txt, and ffmpeg\README.txt lists the exact source archive, its SHA-256, the library versions and the configure line of the bundled build, and contains the patches in full. The source of this build is that archive plus those patches. The patches (both to the scale_d3d11 filter): 0001-scale_d3d11-single-textures.patch: the filter makes its output pictures as single textures, as FFmpeg 8.0 did; FFmpeg 8.1 makes them as one texture array, which some graphics drivers refuse. 0002-scale_d3d11-bt709-limited-output.patch: the filter converts RGB pictures to BT.709 limited-range YUV instead of leaving the conversion to the graphics driver.
